ECS – Eco Compter Systems is a London based, social enterprise collecting, refurbishing for re-use and recycling an IT, telecommunication and other electronic equipment.

This an Environment Agency registered computer recycler and registered voluntary organisation who holds a full Waste Management License. ECS provides secure data removal in accordance with ministry of defence standards, and in adherence to the WEEE directive.

Some refurbished computer systems are reused through donations to charities and non-profit organizations, some other are sold. Profits made from sales are used to fund local community projects.

ECS also runs few local (in Lewisham) libraries where anyone can drop-off their unwanted or not needed any more computers, printers, headphone, telephones, radio, monitor, TV or whatever electronic device.

If an organization is replacing thier equipment or wishes to donate working but old servers, PCs, laptops, MACs or printers it is better to contact ECO directly.

In case if accessing library is not possible they can collect and safely dispose your old computer from any location within M25, London.
